The New England Cheerleaders Association
was founded by Priscilla L. Lutz of Uncasville, CT on September 10, 1979. The company’s success soared as cheerleaders from all over New England attended NECA cheer camps with the desire to learn new skills and gain insight in how to lead the crowd! Team building and team UNITY became a guiding force behind the NECA resident camp curriculum and remains part of the curriculum to this day.
NECA hosts the NECA Open Cheerleading Championship and the NECA All-Star Classic Cheerleading Championship as well as both resident and private camps throughout New England. The company has enjoyed over 37 years of success which Lutz says is mainly the result of “our love for cheerleading” and “our faithful customers”.
