The New England Cheerleaders Association
was founded by Priscilla L. Lutz of Uncasville, CT on September 10, 1979. The company’s success soared as cheerleaders from all over New England attended NECA cheer camps with the desire to learn new skills and gain insight in how to lead the crowd! Team building and team UNITY became a guiding force behind the NECA resident camp curriculum and remains part of the curriculum to this day.
NECA previously hosted overnight summer camps and the all-star competition at the Ryan Center, but due to rising costs has decided to forego those two aspects of the company. Keeping the lowest cost for our cheer teams while still providing the utmost level of service is our main priority, and we don’t feel that it is fair to burden teams with that extra cost. NECA wishes the best to all of our all-star teams who have competed with us in the past!
We love the memories we have from our summer camps, and love to hear many coaches and athletes who still refer to camp as the highlight of their summer. Luckily, we are still hosting private camps, which can be done at any point throughout the year! We are available for one day or multi day camps, stunt clinics, or choreography.
